01 - Artist Name & Location = Jacks & Aces - Portland, ME

02 - How did the project come into existence? = Lead singer, guitarist and songwriter performed as a guest player at a Road to Memphis Benefit Concert in December of 09. Maine blues promoters saw Jack and requested he put together a blues band for future shows. Jack gathered several session players he has worked closely with, and Jacks & Aces were born.

03 - Who are the members of the band if any and please tell us about it? =

1.  Jack Fossett: Lead guitarist, singer and songwriter. Jack is a New England session guitarist who plays and records with many artists in various genres.
2. Zack Pomerleau: Zack is the drummer, and is also exceptionally talented on harmonica and keys.
3. Andy Buslovich: Andy also plays guitar, and adds saxophone and backup vocals.
4. Kris Rodgers: Kris plays the sweet piano riffs.
5. Kevin Roy: The low down, the master of disaster, look out ladies he hates to dine alone........ he's the bassist.

04 - How would you describe your sound/genre? = We are rooted in blues, but also are influenced by rock, jazz and folk. Our sound would be described as 'modern blues' - somewhere between the sounds of early Jeff Beck and Joe Bonamassa.

05 - What formal training or previous experience do any of the members have? = Andy and Kris are Berklee educated musicians.

06 - Are you working w/ a producer on your upcoming album? = We self-produce all of our material.

07 - Who would you say has been the biggest influence on the bands sound or that you have used as inspiration for your music? = Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King

08 - What advice would you give to others starting out? = Be genuine - do it for the love of music.

10 - If you could play anywhere in the world or with anyone you wanted where and who would it be with? = I would love to play at the Royal Albert Hall with Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck.

11 - What has been your greatest experience so far either individually or as a whole? = The cheers we get from crowds who love our original songs.

12 - Do you have any upcoming events or news you would like to tell our readers about? = We have many shows booked in Southern Maine, and are potentially being booked at big festivals this summer.

13 - Where do you see yourselves or hope to be in about 5 years? = Hopefully signed with a record label and releasing more albums, with radio play
